The Targeted Direct Energy Laser Strike is similar to the Merry Weather Security Airstrike. This service will be available in the free roam lobby of players in GTA Online. The players will be able to call this service from their in-game cellular phones, and use it against players that have been targeted for the service. The power of the Direct Energy Laser Strike should not exceed the power of the Orbital Strike. More details will be revealed at a later time. GTA Online does currently have a surgical strike that is delivered to a target. However, that surgical strike is different from the Direct Energy Laser Strike. The differences are in the types of weapons used. Overall effectiveness of the Direct Energy Laser Strike should be similar to the surgical strike found in GTA Online.
