A GTA VI (Six) trailer is slated to be released in December 2023.
I expect the shopping experience at the fictional gun store called Ammu-Nation to change. I expect the experience to change in a way that makes the process more life-like and immersive. Maybe the process will focus on the weapons a bit more.
A potential shopping experience at Ammu-Nation in GTA VI (Six) could be like what is found in the following Youtube shorts:
- Gateway AK for AR guys (MK47)
- Benelli M4 ASMR (This is the John Wick shotgun.)
- Desert Eagle .50 cal ASMR (This is the typical American hero handgun.)
- Full Steel Glock (Matrix Invictus)
- SCAR 16 Woodland M81
- SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle
- The German Lord of Machine Guns: The MG 3 General-Purpose Belted Machine Gun 7.62x51 ASMR
- Opening an Iconic Factory Sealed Bulgarian Krinkov Chambered In 7.62x39
- My 1986 RPG-7 A1 Rocket Launcher.. Beautiful Boom (This is not really mine. The title of the Youtube Short just uses the word "My" in its title.)
- Heirloom 1911 Pistol (FT. IronMonkey Rifleworks)
- GM6 LYNX aka “Handheld Howitzer” 💥 GUN ASMR #Shorts
- We have MP7 at home
Each weapon that is shown in GTA VI (Six) should have its own unique revealing that is shown to the player, when the player is trying to purchase a weapon at Ammu-Nation.
For the extended magazine that will most likely be back in GTA VI (Six), the animations for it could be something like what is shown in this video:
The shopping experience would be different for each weapon, but similar in style to the point where each experience of buying a weapon at Ammu-Nation is immersive and unique.
I think the immersive ASMR experiences shown in the links above could be representative of potential video game animations. Currently, the Ammu-Nation experience in GTA Online is nowhere near life-like nor immersive. The current GTA Online experience is good, but for GTA VI (Six), I expect an improvement that is more immersive.
Another interesting change that maybe we could see in GTA VI (Six) is a see-through gun, or the option to make all weapons "see-through." I think this would an interesting dynamic to the GTA VI (Six) weapon experience.
An example of a see-through weapon animation is shown in the video below:
