Political Opinion: Tucker Carlson chosen over Kari Lake to be Trump's 2024 Vice President

Every now and then I comment on politics. The topic of this political blog entry is the potential Vice President for Donald Trump in 2024. This blog entry might be updated with more information. It is only a political opinion.

I think Tucker Carlson might be at the top of the list to be Trump's Vice President. Tucker Carlson looked a little different covering the news in Ireland, as in Tucker Carlson might have that "VP spark" to his face (still uncertain, however).

I had my hopes on Kari Lake for the position of Vice President to Donald Trump in 2024. At worst, Kamala Harris, whom I do not support at all, but am glad she made the decision to be Biden's VP, created a bad impression of women in positions of power.

I do not think there is a formal timetable to announce a running mate for Trump's 2024 Vice President position. Tucker Carlson or Kari Lake for Trump's VP are two good possibilities right now, but Tucker Carlson might be chosen over Kari Lake for Trump's 2024 VP pick.

Any other "name" out there on Trump's VP list has too much baggage in terms of political problems, personal problems, and self-image problems. Mike Pence did not have any visible or perceivable flaws, when he was chosen for Trump's VP, and while he was Trump's VP. Mike Pence was as flawless of a VP as you can get.

A comparison between Tucker Carlson and Mike Pence is interesting with Tucker Carlson appearing inexperienced when compared to Mike Pence. For this reason, I do not see Tucker Carlson being chosen as Trump's Vice President because Tucker Carlson does not have what it takes to be Vice President.

Tucker Carlson may have the education, but when compared to Mike Pence, Mike Pence did have the requisite experience to be Vice President when he was chosen by Trump before the 2020 U.S. Election. Tucker Carlson might be big on political theory and media strategy, but his experience is less than Mike Pence.

I use Mike Pence as a measuring tool because he has served as Vice President under Trump. This would mean that Donald Trump understood that Mike Pence was as flawless as you can get, at that point in time, to be a Vice President in the Trump Administration.

Mike Pence was a complete and complementing component to Donald Trump's first presidential run. Adding this little bit to even the tone out in my blog entry, Kari Lake is similar to Tucker Carlson in that she is a media personality with little to no political experience when compared to someone like Mike Pence. However, Kari Lake seems to have what it takes to be a U.S. President - specifically because she understands the media. In understanding the media, Kari Lake should also be able to understand human perception and human perception creation from the media's perspective. Kari Lake appears to be charismatic by nature. Tucker Carlson has no visible charisma at this point. (I do not really enjoy listening to him.)

As an aside, I know Mike Pence made a decision in 2020 that had profound consequences. I am not focusing on that decision because that decision by Mike Pence was made after he had already become Vice President to Donald Trump. (At a later time, I will say a little bit more on Mike Pence's decision and behavior leading up to Jan. 6th.)

At this moment, I would not vote for Tucker Carlson as U.S. President, and I would not want Tucker Carlson as Vice President. It would be a very odd thing. No vote for Donald Trump, if he has Tucker Carlson as his VP pick. This political ticket is such an anomaly at the moment, it could give the Office of the Presidency over to Democrats in 2024.

For the moment, I do not see how Tucker Carlson could help Donald Trump as his VP in 2024, so I do not think Trump will choose Tucker Carlson over Kari Lake. I think Kari Lake has the Office of the Presidency secured in 2028. There is no one currently in politics that can beat her image, ambitions, and overall political goals, but this is another blog post at a later time.
