GTA Online Prison Life DLC

The GTA Online Prison Life DLC should be considered to be a "full blown" heavily immersive DLC into the prison and prison gang lifestyle.

The Prison Life DLC would allow the players to run their contraband operation from prison. The players would be able to escape from the prison to roam around GTA Online as an "Escaped Prisoner." Instead of a regular gang, the players would join the following:

  • The Mafia
  • A Family
  • Another Prison Gang

The players would be able to join a cohort with other players that have also escaped from the prison, or are all about that criminal lifestyle in GTA Online or they want to experience the prison lifestyle from a simulated video game perspective. The players that join the head "Escaped Prisoner" would be considered "Convicts."

To unlock this DLC, the players would have to complete various tasks in prison. The players would unlock this DLC while in prison. This DLC cannot be unlocked outside of the prison. This means the player has to find a way to get into prison, to play as this DLC concept in free roam.

A key feature for this DLC is the bribing of prison guards. To escape from prison and to unlock the features of this DLC, the players would have to continuously bribe the prison guards.

Another key feature of this DLC is to distinguish the differences between prison gangs and street gangs. The prison gangs would be rivals with regular street gangs found in GTA Online.

Another key feature of the Prison Life DLC would be the ability for the players to purchase contraband items from the gas stations, liquor stores and grocery stores, to then use them to make various contraband items that are going to be sold in prison. This way, the players can interact with more stores in the state of San Andreas.

The players would need a way to sneak their contraband items into prison for distribution.

This is a very rough concept with not much development, but I think something that aligns with the prison lifestyle can be done in GTA Online. This DLC should not be confused with a Police or Law Enforcement DLC.

Lastly, this concept has no relation to Rockstar Games nor GTA Online. The concept is being developed from the user's perspective only, without looking at any code or "back-end" files related to GTA Online.
